Founded in 1987, Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE) is a joint venture between Air Liquide Group (65%) and Far Eastern Group (35%).

The company supplies all kinds of industrial gases and services to a wide variety of industrial sectors. As a majority, it offers the most state-of-the-art technology for high purity gases to supply the electronics market. Air Liquide Far Eastern also provides associated services, specialized equipment and installations for Fabs. Today, the company has established offices and plants in Taipei, Chupei, Hsinchu, Taichung and Kaohsiung cities together with on-site operations in Hsinchu, Taichung and Tainan Sciences Parks to serve customers around the island.

A history of ALFE from its inception to the present relies on a long and solid partnerships with Far Eastern Group which accompanies the young company toward success by virtue of providing timely, qualitative and decisive support in industrial gas business. From a chemical manufacturer of oxygen and nitrogen to a service company and solution provider, ALFE offers a wide spectrum of professional services to distribute gases within the Fabs through specific offers of specialty gases and Information technologies. ALFE has accumulated in-depth experience on handling and managing total gas solution for wafer manufacturers by leveraging Air Liquide’s advanced technology as well as embracing the local practice of the market.
ALFE has succeeded in standing an important position in the emerging flat panel (TFT-LCD) business because all major players recognize ALFE as a reliable partner for stable gas supply and local customer support.
